Priest's House Museum Trip
3W had a brilliant day at The Priest's House Museum in Wimborne. We took part in different activities from the Victorian times, including:
- a Victorian washday where the children grated soap, collected water and washed some socks
- cooking in a Victorian kitchen - the children lit the range, made biscuits and lemonade and toasted bread on the range to make toast
- handling Victorian artefacts, including an iron and candle snuffers
- learning in a Victorian classroom and finding out what it was like to write on a chalkboard
