Welcome to 4TL
Mrs Leigh and Mrs Short are really looking forward to a fantastic, fun-filled learning journey.
Our MDSA is Mrs Thorne.
On Wednesday mornings Mrs Nevin will teach us.
We hope that you enjoy looking through our photographs and sharing the terrific activities as the year progresses.
Here is some important information:
Home Learning will be given out on Fridays. It is to be completed by the following Wednesday.
Reading Records should be handed in on Wednesdays and will be given out on Fridays. They are to be completed by the children and signed by an adult three times per week.
Spelling lists or investigations will be sent home on Friday to be learnt or completed by the following Friday.
PE is on Wednesday (inside) and Tuesday (outside). Please ensure PE kits are in school on these days and earrings are taken out at home.
Science Enrichment 14th-16th January 2019
Last week we had a super time doing two investigations exploring colour.
First we made coloured sugared water. The more sugar we used the denser the water became, so we were able to make rainbows as the heavier colours sank .
For our second investigation we used chromatography skills to find out the different colours used to make felt- tipped pens.

Advent Service 2018
I am sure you will agree our children were fantastic on Monday evening at The Annunciation. In case you didn't manage to take any photos here are a few photos from our Dress Rehearsal for you to enjoy.
Green Card Reward Time
Today the children who had won their Green Card Reward were able to carry out their activities.
As some children had chosen to be a teacher for 15 minutes everyone was able to enjoy the time.

We have had a great start to Year 4.
We have had extra playtime when we won the KS2 trophy for the week, we have had a lovely Prayer Time in our outdoor worship area, we have enjoyed our learning.
