Welcome to 4DB
Our teacher is Miss Blunden and our teaching assistant is Mrs Perkins. Our MDSA is Mrs Spender. On Wednesday mornings Mrs Tizzard will teach us. We hope you enjoy looking at our class page. We hope to update it every half term with pictures of us learning.
Here is some information about being in 4DB:
Home Learning will be given out on Fridays. It is to be completed by the following Wednesday.
Reading Records should be handed in on Wednesdays and will be given out on Fridays. They are to be signed and dated three times per week.
Spelling lists or investigations will be sent home on Friday to be learnt or completed by the following Friday.

PE is on Tuesday (outside) and on Thursday (inside). Please ensure PE kits are in school on these days and earrings are taken out at home.

We read the book 'Coming Home' by Michael Morpurgo and used it in our literacy lessons to do lots of fantastic writing. We also used a computer programme called 'Scratch' to make our own animations based around the story. Click on the robin to find out more!

We are learning all about the Stone Age this half term...
YEAR 2
Which book characters can you spot in 2SR? We had lots of fun dressing up and we shared our books and outfits with our prayer buddies in Year 5.
Year 2 had a wonderful day at Marwell Zoo. Did you know that giraffes hum to each other as they go to sleep? Our favourite part was seeing the Humboldt penguins gliding though the water and meeting Ralph in his wetsuit!
