Hot school meals

All children in Key Stage 1 (reception to Year 2) are entitled to a free hot lunch every day. Our meals are catered by Forerunner, and every day there is a choice of a main meal, vegetarian meal and a jacket potato or similar. You need to book your child’s meal in advance so that we can ensure they have their meal of their choice – you will need to do this via the Forerunner Ordering Portal. Children eating a hot lunch will come into the hall, where they will be served their food. In KS2, children can still have a hot lunch, you need to book and pay for this via the Forerunner Ordering Portal. The current cost is £2.60 per meal. When you book, you can ‘opt in’ or out for any day – your child doesn’t need to stick to hot food or packed lunch (as long as you have booked or sent lunch in!).
