Music is celebrated at Saint Walburga's Catholic Primary School!

Every child learns the recorder in Year 3 and they experience the thrill of samba drumming in Year 4.

Children are also offered the opportunity to learn the guitar and piano. Musicians can gain experience in performance by playing at Assemblies and the annual KS2 Music Talent Show is always a highlight of the year!

Our awarding winning choir is fully inclusive and we never audition. Despite this we have won the prestigious Bournemouth Music Competitions Festival in 2023 and 2024! Beating choirs across the BCP region. We have also sang several times at the O2 in London as part of Young Voices Choir. In addition to this, every term we sing at a local Care Home and annually at the local library. We also perform in other concerts, for example with The Salvation Army, throughout the year.
