Viking Soup! (Groennsoppa)
We had a look at some Viking meals as part of topic. We had a go at making "green soup", a style of dish enjoyed by ordinary Viking families. We will use our practical lesson to help us with some instruction writing. Most of us thought it tasted lovely but some were a little unsure!

To uncover clues from the past, we had an archaeological dig! We looked at some artifacts and tried to work out what they were used for, who they belonged to and what it could tell us about Anglo-Saxon life!
We will be using what we found out to write some brilliant information texts!
