Welcome to 1WH!

Our teachers are Mrs Welch and Mrs Hills. Our teaching assistant is Mrs Lask. 

Home learning is set each Friday to be completed by the following Friday. Reading books are changed on Tuesdays and Fridays so Home Readers will need to be in school on these days. We also set spellings via Spelling Shed so you can review these at home BUT we will not be testing children on the list - there will be daily reviews and class spelling activities each week. 

Our PE days are Monday (indoors) and Friday (outdoors) - please come to school dressed in your PE kit on these days.

We would like the children to develop their independence so we will be encouraging them to empty their book bags and hand in their reading books, letters etc. We will remind the children at the beginning of every day to do this.
