St Walburga's Global Gang

On Tuesdays after school, some children from Key Stage 2 have set up a Global Gang with Mrs Kassiri to explore and discuss some of the global issues present in the world today. The children have come up with lots of their own ideas about the different issues they would like to explore and we have good discussions and debates about these! Some of the areas the global gang wish to work on are : Children's rights, Animal welfare, Water, Environmental issues, litter, global education and many more! So far we have looked at Water and its uses, Fairtrade and Human/Children's Rights. We also learnt about Nelson Mandela this week. Please have a look at the photos of us working and discussing these global issues and keep checking back for more pictures!
