The PSA (Parent Staff Association) consists of a team of parents and staff that work together to raise money for the School. We then use the money to buy things for the School; for example, during 2013 we purchased iPads for the school, lockers for the Juniors and contributed towards the play equipment for the Infants. In recent years we have also bought new lighting and speakers for the hall, a new stage, new books for the children’s libraries and the outside classroom in the infant playground. This year we are raising money towards the renovation of the Quiet Garden Area in the Junior playground.
We hold various events to raise money each school year, including Cake Sales and the Christmas and Summer Fayres. Please contact us if you have any suggestions or ideas for fund-raising events which you would like us to stage.
St. Walburga's PSA is made up of a small but fabulous team, of parents, carers and teachers. We are always looking for new members, with new ideas, so please do come along to one of our events and introduce yourself, or attend one of our monthly meetings. We are also lucky enough to have a support committee team, who receive a monthly e-mail of our minutes and are the volunteers who help us to run the various fund-raising and social events we host.
If you wish to share your ideas or become a member, either full or support, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or drop a note into the very lovely ladies in the office. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
